Confirm Site Access

Tell us about any access conditions at your site — unpaved roads, steep grades, gate codes, low clearance, or soft ground. The more detail you provide, the better we can plan routing and bring the right transport equipment.

Equipment Arrives Job-Ready

Equipment is delivered fueled and inspected. NorthPoint staff will unload and position the machine at your site. Ask any operational questions before the driver leaves.

Site Access Requirements

PREPARING YOUR SITE FOR DELIVERY

NorthPoint's delivery vehicles are commercial-grade transport rigs — flatbeds and lowboys for heavy equipment, smaller trailers for compact machines. Your site needs to accommodate the delivery vehicle, not just the equipment being delivered. When booking, share any access limitations so we can plan accordingly.

Road and Driveway Condition

Tell us if access involves unpaved roads, seasonal roads, steep grades, or surfaces that may not support a loaded flatbed. NorthPoint may arrange alternative unloading points for difficult access.

Overhead Clearance

Low-hanging branches, power lines, or overhead structures on the access route can prevent delivery of taller equipment. Let us know if clearance is limited so we can plan the approach.

Gate Codes and Access Hours

If your site has a gate or restricted access hours, provide the code or contact details when booking. Delivery teams work within the hours your site is accessible.

Unloading Area

The delivery vehicle needs a level, stable area to unload. If the unloading area is on soft ground, a slope, or requires the machine to be walked a distance from the truck, mention this at booking.

Remote and Rural Sites

NorthPoint regularly delivers to logging roads, mountain properties, and remote North Country sites. Describe access conditions honestly — our teams are experienced with NH terrain and will plan accordingly.

Someone Present at Delivery

Have someone on site when equipment is delivered to confirm placement, receive the machine, and ask any operational questions before the driver departs.

What Delivery Includes

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN EQUIPMENT ARRIVES

Every NorthPoint delivery includes more than just transport. Here is what you can expect when a machine arrives at your site.

Equipment arrives fueled. Every machine leaves the NorthPoint yard with a full tank. You will not need to fuel before starting.

Equipment arrives inspected. All machines are inspected and serviced before every rental. If you notice anything that does not look right when the machine arrives, tell the driver before they leave and call the store.

Basic operation walkthrough available. Ask the driver or call the store if you want a walkthrough of controls, startup, and shutdown before the driver leaves. First-time renters especially should take a few minutes for this.

Pickup is included. At the end of your rental, NorthPoint picks up the machine. Pickup is scheduled when you book delivery. If you need to extend, call as soon as possible to adjust the pickup date.

Delivery Is Not Included in the Rental Rate

The rental rate covers the machine only. Delivery and pickup are additional charges beyond the free zone. These are always quoted before you confirm. If you prefer to avoid delivery charges entirely, pickup is available at all five locations during business hours — Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Can I get same-day delivery?

Same-day delivery is possible depending on the location, equipment, and route schedule. Availability is not guaranteed but the team will do everything possible to accommodate urgent needs.

Is pickup included when delivery is scheduled?

Yes. When you schedule delivery, pickup at the end of your rental is included in the delivery arrangement. Pickup timing is agreed when you book. If you need to extend the rental, call as soon as possible so pickup can be rescheduled based on availability.

What if no one is on site when delivery arrives?

Have someone present at the site when equipment is delivered. The driver needs to confirm placement, ensure the machine is positioned safely, and be available to answer any questions before leaving. If no one is on site, delivery may not be able to be completed and a re-delivery fee may apply. Coordinate access and timing with your location when booking.

What if I need to cancel after delivery is scheduled?

Cancellation notice requirements apply to all reservations including those with scheduled delivery. If no notice is given and NorthPoint attempts or completes delivery, full delivery fees are charged plus the applicable rental cancellation fee.
